This is one of the most emotional pieces I know...

Flea Market

I sold some clothes at Daily Projects,
and I met number of my friends there!

The 1st pic from the top features the clothes I was selling, and
the guy in the second pic is Yujii, a hair dresser.

That boy in the third pic is Jongmyung.
He loves lil grotesque but lovely designers like Bernhard Willhelm,
Jeremy scott, and Marjan Pejoskii.

It was fun; I earned about $500!

I thought I believe what I see, but I actually see what I believe.

Saddest piece on earth

This piece, chaconne, has a lovely nickname: the saddest piece on earth.

It's really sad.... really.

It is known that this piece is composed by Vitali but some say that it could've been

composed by Vivaldi. but who knows?

The violinist in this video is Sarah Chang.

She's been know as a "genius". Her debut album was recorded when she was only

eleven. Moreover, her repertory is not limited unlike many

other young artists.

After her dramatic performance, she smiles so softly:]

Rain

Ididn't bring my umbrella.

I got washed out while others were protected under their

umbrellas.

It wasn't that pleasing, but still enjoyable.

I am making my own shirt in pattern making class;

I will blog it when I finish it.

Here's a song that fits rainy days.

Well, it doesn't actually fit rainy days at all, but it's so nice!

dilemmas

I am not so good at talking to others.

I am not so good at looking at others' eyes.

I don't know how to apologize or appreciate.

I can't really pronounce "hamberger".

I calculate everything too much; I even count

how many steps I walked.

I don't like to see a number of people together.

I don't love crowded place.

I dislike instructions.

I am not honest to myself while I am to others.

I love unmeaning noise.

I like variations under repetition.

I dwell in repetitive life; I don't revel in it, but I somehow intend it.

My favorite Vegetables.

Avocado*>Cabbage>Lettuce>Onion>potato>corn>garlic>....

Avocados are really expensive in Korea...

So.. Thomas Krome can't live in Korea.

One of my friends complained:

No one can love me.

How can anyone like me? Even "I" dislike myself...

being unable to be liked.

Well

I tried not to blink my eyes.
I started it for fun to see how much I can cry when I am not sad.
(I tried this once while I was playing tennis, and I looked really crazy)

Anyhow, when tears started to come out, I ran in front of the mirror and looked at the boy who's always there; I smiled at him, and he smiled at me back with tears hung on his cheeks.

I wasn't crying but he was. I think I made him cry.
We were both smiling though.

Bored

I am really bored.

Scarbo

Oh, how many times have I heard and seen
Scarbo, at midnight when the moon shines in the
sky like a silver coin against an azure banner
sprinkled withe golden bees!

How many times have I heard the hum of his
laughter in the shadow of my room, and the
scratching of his fingernail on the silk curtains of
my bed!

How many times have I seen him drop down to
the floor, pirouette on one foot and spin around
the room like a bobbin fallen from a witch's
distaff.

Then did I believe that he had vanished? The
dwarf grew as large as the belltower of a Gothic
cathedral, standing between the moon and me,
with a gloden bell swinging from his pointed
bonnet.

But soon his body become blue, transparent as
candlewax, , his face became pale as the wax of a
candle-end; and suddenly, he disappeared.

Ondine

Listen, listen! It is Ondine who brushes the dia-
mond panes of your window with these drops of
water lit by the pale rays of the moon; and here, in
a shimmering gown, is the lady of the castle, who
from her balcony contemplates the starlit night
and the beautiful sleeping lake.

Each wave is a water sprite swimming in the
current, every current is a path which winds to-
ward my palace, and my palace is built of flowing
liquid, at the bottom of the lake, within the trian-
gle of earth, air, and fire.

Listen, listen! My father beats the babbling
water with a green alder branch, and my sisters
caress the cool clumps of grass, water lilies, and
gladioli with their arms of foam, or make fun of
the old bearded willow fishing with rod and line.

With her whispered song, she begged me to put
her ring on my finger, to become the husband of
a water sprite, to visit her palace, and to become
the king of the lakes.

And as I told her I love a mortal, sulky, and
pouting, she shed a few tears, then bursting out
laughing, she disappeared in a shower of clear
water droplets which ran down my blue windows.

ah... It is really hot in Korea.
I feel exhausted and powerless.
I want to alt+F4 the summer, or ctrl+z the season back to spring.


Starting this week,I am learning pattern making and illustration.
Illustration is quite enjoyable, but pattern making is too stressful!

On the way back home, I saw an old lady selling tooth brushes, and bug killing sprays.
I thought no one would buy a tooth brush from a person selling bug killers, but
there were some indeed!

Oh. I am working on a new piece now. it's called gaspard de la nuit no1: ondine.
It is composed by an impressionist, Maurice Ravel.
He likes to directly portray things with the notes; for instance, he uses scales to portray the flowing water . The piece I am working on is about ondine, a fairy of water.
Contunious but irregular arpeggio at the beginning makes me think of a fairy attracting people, soft glissando visualizes water passing through, and loud scale portrays a big whirlpool drawing people down to the deep lake.

After having dinner, we realized that we had to go home,
so we did.

It was quite sad, but we knew we were gonna see
each other again very soon.
They are really good friends to me.

I also told them about my blog!
They are gonna visit tonight!

A funny story

"Do you wanna listen to my funny story?", asked Jaewon

I said "no".
He told me anyway.

His funny story went like this:
I was having dinner in a restaurant alone, and
the only people there were two girls on the table next to me.
Very surprisingly, one of them came to me and asked me
if she can have my phone number!!!!!!
I was dumfounded.
I asked myself why the hell she likes me!!
Do You know what's more funny?

I said "no".

Dinner

We went to a restaurant called "Ashully".
(It's a buffet that has random foods.)

I couldn' eat a lot but Jaewon and Panda annihilated
almost all foods in the buffet!

$12 dinner is quite expensive in Korea, but
we all got satiated by the quality of food.

Present

We went to a store called "artbox"
to buy a present for a friend who couldn't come today.

Sungyeol bought a nice white watch for him =P
