ah... It is really hot in Korea.
I feel exhausted and powerless.
I want to alt+F4 the summer, or ctrl+z the season back to spring.

Starting this week,I am learning pattern making and illustration.
Illustration is quite enjoyable, but pattern making is too stressful!

On the way back home, I saw an old lady selling tooth brushes, and bug killing sprays.
I thought no one would buy a tooth brush from a person selling bug killers, but
there were some indeed!

Oh. I am working on a new piece now. it's called gaspard de la nuit no1: ondine.
It is composed by an impressionist, Maurice Ravel.
He likes to directly portray things with the notes; for instance, he uses scales to portray the flowing water . The piece I am working on is about ondine, a fairy of water.
Contunious but irregular arpeggio at the beginning makes me think of a fairy attracting people, soft glissando visualizes water passing through, and loud scale portrays a big whirlpool drawing people down to the deep lake.
If you want to know more about this piece, just listen to it on youtube.
I love Martha Argerich

thats a beautiful piece! It sounds like it will be difficult to master it's expression, which in Argerich's recording appears to be extremely complex. Best of luck!

I'm learning a piece that I also feel that it will be impossible to master... Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin. I started working it a short while ago and even the easiest sections are proving to be extremely challenging!
